Professor Sato
Professor Emeritus, Nippon Institute of Technology
For many years, Professor Sato has been engaged in research and practical initiatives related to renewable energy, regional environmental development, and sustainable agriculture.
His work focuses on integrating scientific expertise with local community efforts, including smart agriculture, promotion of regional SDGs, and the development of handmade biogas systems.
Currently serving as a Director at the NPO Renewable Energy Promotion Association, he actively promotes environmental education and the adoption of renewable energy both domestically and internationally. He has also been deeply involved in environmental policy and education at the local level, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.

Mr. Imoto
Specially Appointed Professor, Japan University of Economics
Mr. Imoto holds degrees in Agriculture from Tokyo University of Agriculture and in Buddhist Studies from Rissho University.
With extensive experience in international cooperation, peacebuilding, and agricultural development, he has worked across Asia and Africa, including field missions in Somalia and Cambodia with the Japan International Volunteer Center.
In Myanmar, he has led grassroots initiatives supporting ethnic minorities and post-war recovery efforts. As a Buddhist monk, he has built interfaith and regional networks across more than 20 countries, combining spirituality with practical social engagement.
He currently serves as a Specially Appointed Professor at the Japan University of Economics.

After graduating from the Department of Political Science at Takushoku University, he worked in overseas sales at a semiconductor trading company for approximately 10 years. During that time, he was stationed in Seoul, South Korea for five years, where he gained firsthand experience with the challenges of the residence system, including procedures for renewing residence status as a foreign national.
He later served as an International Investigator at the Chiba Prefectural Police for about 25 years. In this role, he focused on criminal investigations involving foreign nationals, developing deep, practical insights into multicultural coexistence and legal compliance in international contexts.
In 2022, he passed the Administrative Scrivener Examination, and in 2023, he established his own Administrative Scrivener Office. He currently provides support related to residence and employment systems for both foreign nationals and companies, with a strong focus on legal compliance and social integration, working toward the realization of a “society where we live together.”
